read comments (0)Kate Moss was born on January 16th 1974 in Addiscombe, England. When Moss was 14, she was discovered by the founder of Storm model agency, Sarah Doukas in the JFK airport. The founder signed Moss and she began shooting for a series of teen magazines right away.
Before she knew it, she was on the cover of several popular magazines and the new face for Calvin Klein. Moss used one of her nude black and white photos for the Calvin Klein, Obsession perfume. The photo was taken previously and Calvin Klein just loved for the photo to be put in the advertisement.
Everyone loved Moss including major designer name brands, Chanel, Gucci and Versace. They signed contracts with the model, which made the companies millions. She had the waif look that all the designers liked and her style became a fashion model trend worldwide. She has appeared in over a hundred magazine spreads and earned the reputation for the biggest model influence to teenagers all over the world.
