Jessica Alba Biography

Jessica Alba was born in Pomona, California on April 28, 1981.  Shortly after she was born, her family decided to move to Biloxi, Mississippi.  Her father was in the Air Force, so moving started to become a regular thing for the family.  About three years later, the family moved back to California.  From there, they moved to Del Rico, Texas and finally at the age of nine, her family packed their bags once more, before settling in southern California.

Moving was rough on Jessica because she was never able to keep the same friends, but moving almost every three years was all she knew.  Alba started taking acting lessons at age 12 and about nine months later; she was signed on by an agency.  Her agent saw major potential in Jessica and since then she has landed a diversity of roles.  Her dreams of becoming an actress were on the horizon. 

Jessica was one of the fastest actresses in Hollywood to show that she didn’t just have a pretty face, she had real talent.  She was determined and destined to succeed in becoming an actress.  Through time, she had taken small roles that eventually led her breakthrough as an actress when she was asked to tape the Sci-fi television series, Dark Angel and this when her dreams came true.
