Eva Longoria is a beautiful Mexican-American actress and is known for her performance and character, Gabrielle Solis in the hit ABC television series Desperate Housewives. Longoria has been recently appearing in advertisement campaigns for elite fashion companies and has taken her modeling career very seriously.
Longoria graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Science. While attending school in 1998, she won Miss Corpus Christi, USA. After getting her degree she entered in a talent contest and the contest was held in Los Angeles. Shortly after, an agent had noticed her and wanted her to sign with the agency.
Her agent told Eva about a guest starring role on Beverly Hills 90210. She knew that she couldn’t pass it up, so she went to the audition and landed the part. Her Beverly Hills role led to her breakthrough role on Soap Opera, The Young and the Restless. In the role she played, Isabella Brana Williams, who was a psychotic woman. She left the show in 2003 to move on to bigger and better things.
In 2003, Longoria was listed in People en Espanola’s Most Beautiful People. Once she left The Young and the Restless, she appeared on the Dragnet. Dragnet was television show about drama cases of a dedicated Los Angeles police detective and his partners. The show only lasted two seasons, so Longoria started auditioning for more roles. She landed parts for two movies, Senorita Justice and The Dead Will Tell.
Then one year later she got the role on Desperate Housewives, which made her famous and an A-Lister. From there on, her career was launched and life started really looking up for her. She never thought that her career was going to take off as fast as it did.
She is in a high profile relationship with NBA basketball star, Tony Parker. The couple first met in the San Antonio Spur’s locker room at a game. After the game was over, Eva told reporters that Tony was her favorite player on the team and soon enough the two were a pair. The couple was in a relationship for two years, before deciding to split up.
Once they were apart from one another, they really realized how much they missed one another and got back together. Months later, Tony asked Eva to marry him and she said yes. The two are planning on getting married in a fairy tale castle North of Paris. They are both superstitious and have decided to be married on 7/7/07.
