read comments (0)Britney’s comeback album is to be released sometime in November. Supposedly, Spears’ has been working extremely hard on her comeback album and has been collaborating with illusionist, Criss Angel on her opening act for the MTV Video Music Awards. Britney’s new manager, Jeff Kwatinetz has been watching her every move and has been following her to many dance rehearsals as she prepares for her performance. The one time World icon, wants the performance to be shocking and there has been reports of singer disappearing several times within the performance. Ideas have been floating everywhere and of course, “My Perogative” being the focus of the performance has entered a few minds. Some sources say that images of Justin Timberlake and Kevin Federline are going to be in the background as Britney performs. I wonder where her manager would think that old pictures of Brit’s ex’s flashing behind her, would be good for her image. Other performers will join Spears on the stage, such as Ne-Yo. He has been working with pop princess for her comeback album. Ne-Yo wrote songs for her album, however in an interview with Ryan Seacrest, he said things got rocky between him and Britney. “I have no idea what’s going on with Britney Spears,” Ne-Yo said. “The last thing I heard is that Britney is mad over some songs that wound up going to Nicole Scherzinger.”
“I was working with Britney Spears’ people. I wrote 6-8 songs for Britney Spears. Then Britney goes ahead and shaves her head, goes into rehab and when that happened I lost all contact with her A&R people, with her label. I was calling them, they weren’t answering my calls. So in the process of all that going on, that’s when I met Nicole Scherzinger. I played her two songs, she loved them, they cut the check and she recorded the songs. So when that happened that’s when Britney’s people called and said ‘why are you giving away Britney’s songs’ and I say ‘uhh, hold on… y’all didn’t cut me a check!”
Ne-Yo says he saved two “special” songs for Britney. When asked if it’s possible for her to make a comeback, he sighed, then said he seemed to think it was. Compelling. What is wrong with her, she let a hit of songs go to a nobody, PussyCat Doll?
Nick Hogan recently had an interview with Rides Magazine and called his Supra, “his pussy magnet.” While his friend, John Graziano lays in the hospital fighting for his life, Rides magazine publishes Nick Bollea’s interview in their headlines. “The yellow Supra and yellow Viper are pussy magnets for sure. I mean, the green and the silver appeal more to men, ’cause a guy knows what he’s looking at and will drool over it. But girls see the yellow, and panties start dropping off.” What a shmuck. How can he sleep at night knowing that his friend is in critical condition and may never be the same. Shame on his parents, Hulk Hogan and Linda Hogan for allowing this kind of behavior from their seventeen year old son.
The Chris Benoit suicide / double homicide has made The World Wrestling Entertainment lay down the law on steroid usage. This week, WWE has announced that at least 10 of their employees / professional wrestlers have been suspended without pay for violating their internal drug policy. Supposedly, some of these WWE wrestlers have been using steroids, other prescription drugs and growth hormone injections from a Florida Drug network for the past two years. It has been reported that from April 2005 to May 2006, Chavo Guerreo received somatropin, anastrozole and nandrolone from the drug network based out of Florida and that from September 2004 to February 2007, Randy Orton received stanozolol, somatropin and nandrolone. And the list goes on and on: John Morrison received somatropin, anastrozole, testosterone, stanozolol and chorionic gonadotropin from June 2006 to February 2007. Mr. Kennedy was prescribed anastrozole, somatropin and testosterone from October 2006 to February 2007. Umaga received somatropin from July and December 2006. William Regal received stanozolol, somatropin, genotropin, and anastrozole from November 2004 to November 2006. Edge received somatropin, genotropin, and stanozolol from September 2004 and February 2007. Benoit was also included in the list and he received nandrolone and anastrozole in February 2006. This will be an ongoing investigation and from now on WWE will be closely watched.
Since canceling their wedding and then getting hitched in a private ceremony, Usher and Tameka are going to get married again and make it official in front of a full entourage. Their second set of nuptials will be sometime this weekend in Atlanta. The rumor guest list include Jermaine Dupri & Janet Jackson, Ashanti and PDiddy. I wonder if Usher’s Mom is invited this time? Anyways, their celebration is going to be better than the first planned celebration according to an anonymous guest. The couple were recently in the spotlight when they attended the opening of Jermaine Dupri’s Studio 72 nightclub on Wednesday in Tucker, Georgia.
Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston feuding once more in the public eye. Talk about trying to keep things civil for your daughter. Well that hasn’t worked, now has it? In this ongoing custody / divorce battle, the two singers cannot seem to agree on much of anything. And this time, Bobby Brown is saying he lived out of his car while Whitney was going through rehab and staying with their daughter, Bobbi at an expensive hotel paid for by Bobby Brown. Why can’t everything be left in the past? No one can ever move forward with their lives, if things are thrown against you every minute something goes wrong. Now that Whitney won’t let her daughter call her father and has blocked his number entirely, Bobby is resenting and causing more problems, especially for his daughter. Houston won’t back down this time and has come forth with a prenuptial agreement, which will stop Brown from receiving any alimony or child support. You can tell that both of them are not in the best financial state at this time due to all their partying and drug ways in the past. Next up for Whitney and Bobby is a divorce court hearing August 31st. Too bad they couldn’t keep laughing it up, like they were earlier this month.
Britney Spears’s former Manager, Larry Rudolph is literally on the run. From Britney or really from Kevin? Actually he is on the run from them both. Rudolph spoke to Ryan Seacrest yesterday from undisclosed location, stating that if Kevin were to find him and subpoena him to court, it would be very bad for Britney. So, Kevin I know you desperately want to find, Larry but I don’t think it is going to happen anytime soon. It seems that not too many people have nice things to say about the former pop star who is trying to come “into her own” by releasing a single shortly. I think it is extremely sad that, she once had everything and it was never good enough for her. She constantly blames her mistakes on everyone around her. In another recent statement from Larry he says, “Despite the things that Britney has publicly said about our relationship in the past, I truly understand where she’s coming from and why she’s said the things she said about me post-rehab and I don’t take it personally. As her former manager, I know and understand Britney better than anyone, I know what makes her tick and I understand everything she’s going through. With that being said, my loyalty will always stay strong with Britney. I have consulted with my lawyers and I do understand that eventually the time will come when they will find me, but until then, I’m trying to avoid being brought into this mess. She’s going through so much right now and I wish Britney the best.” He also said, that he wouldn’t want to have to tell the truth because it might end up badly. We know it would only end up badly for Britney, Larry.
Jason Wahler proposed last weeked to Katja Decker-Sadowski his brand new girlfriend of a couple months. So, for all you girls who like jail birds, Wahler is officially taken. Jason wants to settle down with his USC tennis star fiancé and change his life for the better. Sources say that Wahler purchased a four carat emerald cut diamond ring for his girlfriend and wife to be. WOW, is that a big diamond or what?! The diamond was bought and the XVI Karat in Beverly Hills, California. Sorry Heidi your boyfriend is just cheap, if you would have gotten with LC’s ex, you could have gotten a REAL diamond. For the two lovebirds, no date has been set, but the couple has started shacking up with one another in L.A. Hopefully this time Jason has learned from his mistake – CE is pulling for you!
Nicole Richie is supposed to serve 4 days in jail, but after spending only 82 minutes at the facility, she is released. However, since Richie has been out of jail, she has been out and about showing off her pregnant belly. Saturday, Nicole was eating healthy I might add for two at West Hollywood’s Vegan Organic Food Restaurant. All I can say, is at least she is eating something!
Lauren Caitlin Upton a contender at the Miss Teen USA pageant, honestly made Jessica Simpson look and sound like Albert Einstein when she answered a simple question at the Miss USA pageant. Under pressure, the South Carolina contestant completely blanked when asked “why a fifth of Americans could not locate the United States on a world map.” Her answer was “I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uhmmm, some people out there in our nation don’t have maps and uh, I believe that our, I, education like such as, uh, South Africa, and uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uhhh, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, should help South Africa, it should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future, for us.”
She explained that there are a series of questions that she was ready for, but that question was not one of them. It completely through her off guard. On the Today show, she said, “Everything did come at me at once. I was overwhelmed, and I made a mistake. I’m human.” And at the very moment after she had answered the question, Mario Lopez, the host of the show, looked shocked. The face he made on camera was priceless. Later on, Mario Lopez, said that during Lauren complete and utter meltdown, he wanted to help her, but was not permitted to do so. “It was a very intense moment,” Lopez said. “It’s live TV. You don’t know what the question is until you get up there. And I believe that she misunderstood it. She went down the wrong road and couldn’t figure out how to get back to the right one. I felt really badly for her.”
Yesterday morning on the Today Show, Upton got the chance to answer the question once more and this time she was prepared. You could definitely tell she had rehearsed it several times. Her new answer: “Personally, my friends and I, we know exactly where the United States is on our map. I don’t know anyone else who doesn’t. And if the statistics are correct, I believe there should be more emphasis on geography in our education so people know how to read maps better.” “Now that was a perfect answer,” said Anne Curry.
You heard right, Britney Spears is being investigated by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family for child abuse. There was an unscheduled hearing today at the Los Angeles County Superior Court and Britney’s lawyer, Dennis Wasser, Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan and a counselor assigned to the dependency court were the only ones present for the hearing. The allegations against Britney are unknown at this time. However, Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Service are conducting their own investigation. There has been a report that these allegations against the pop star do not involve physical mistreatment of any kind. Some sources say the DCF complaint involves allegations of the children’s poor dental hygiene, poor eating and sleeping habits. Kevin Federline’s attorney filed legal documents today and had suggested that Kevin also make a complaint against Britney for these same allegations today since she is the custodial parent at this time. Anonymous complaints have been logged with DCF previously regarding Britney Spears’s parenting. And get this Kevin is also under a fine microscope for his parenting according to sources from the Department of Children and Family.
New updated information: A custody hearing is scheduled for September 4, 2007 which will be in addition to today’s court appearance.
First date, involves Vanessa leaving El Torito in Beverly Hills with an unidentified handsome man and making an escape in her BMW. Then moments later, she was seen joining up with her main man, Nick Lachey at Koi restaurant. So Vanessa who’s the new man?
Could the fight with him and his close friend had been what pushed him over the edge? Sources close to the actor, say yes. A few hours before Owen’s brother, Andrew found him on the floor, Owen had a huge argument with a close friend. The close friend is still unknown and has not showed up to the hospital to see Owen yet, so I am guessing that the two friends are no longer friends.
This morning, Michael Vick has pleaded guilty to all dogfighting charges and now awaits sentencing that may send the former QB to prison. He is facing serious time and has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL. U.S. District Judge Henry E. Hudson asked Vick, “Are you entering the plea of guilty to a conspiracy charge because you are in fact guilty?” Vick quickly answered, “Yes, sir.” The judge replied, “You’re taking your chances here. You’ll have to live with whatever decision I make.” Minutes later, Michael Vick addressed the media and accepted full responsibility to all charges.
“I will redeem myself” said Vick, “I have to.” Vick wasn’t specific about the acts he was sorry for, but declared, “Dogfighting is a terrible thing. I reject it.” Between apologies to everyone from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank and to all the children who used to look up to him, Vick declared that he’s found Jesus and has turned his life over to God. “I was ashamed and totally disappointed in myself, to say the least. I want to apologize to all the young kids out there for my immature acts. What I did was very immature, so that means I need to grow up.” Vick also dropped part of his apology in the third person saying, “I totally ask for forgiveness and understanding as I move forward to be a better Michael Vick the person, not the football player.” During the presser, Vick made it clear several times that he never “pointed the finger” and is prepared to face the consequences of his actions. After speaking for nearly five minutes, Vick left the podium without taking any questions or comments. The judge has accepted Michael Vick’s plea.
Early Friday morning, DMX’s home in Arizona was raided by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department and 12 distressed pit bulls were removed from the home. DMX was not home at the time and during the invasion, several weapons were found that were also removed from the residence. The rapper, Earl Simmons was arrested back in 1999 for stabbing and shooting his own mother. However, the charges were later dropped and cleared off his record. And believe it or not, in 2000 DMX plead guilty to animal cruelty charges and paid some fines, but was then later released with a slap on the wrist. All I can say is some role model.
Nick Bollea son of former wrestler, Hulk Hogan crashed his car and was seriously injured Sunday night. The 17 year old, was driving his Toyota Supra extremely fast before his car careened off the road and struck a 25 ft. tall palm tree in downtown Clearwater, Florida. Bollea also had a passenger in the car and both kids were rushed to St. Petersburg Bayfront Medical Center. Since then, Nick has been released from the hospital, but there is still no word on the passenger. Police confirmed that Nick’s car’s rear tires hit the median after fishtailing and eventually slamming into a palm tree. This all happened within seconds and at the time, police called Hogan’s injuries non-life threatening. He was in serious condition last night and the case is under investigation. No charges have been filed, however the teen’s vehicle was totally destroyed upon impact. Clearwater police spokesman, Wayne Shelor told reporters that “his car inexplicably left the road and we don’t know exactly what happened.” I am sure, Nick was speeding and somehow loss control of the vehicle. Nick and the unknown passenger were extracted from the vehicle, then flown by helicopter to the nearby hospital. His male passenger is in critical condition. Hogan declined to address the media through a hospital spokesperson on Sunday evening, but plans to make a statement sometime Monday.
Linda Hogan releases statement: “My son Nick and a friend were involved in a car accident last night. Nick suffered minor injuries and has been treated and released from the hospital. At this time, his friend, John Graziano remains hospitalized. Nick is currently at the hospital with John and his family. His sole concern is for the well being of his friend. On behalf of my family, we ask that your thoughts and prayers be with John and his loved ones.”
