Celebrity Empire

Ever since Britney Spears was a little girl, she always wanted to sing and dance.  Soon enough she got her dream.  In the 90’s a judge at the Mickey Mouse Club audition saw something very special in Spears.  Her personality and ability to sing was like no other, she had star quality and it was just a matter of time before everyone knew who she was. 

After all of her experiences and much effort, Spears joined up with Jive records and released her first album, “Baby One More Time.”  The song reached #1 on the U.S pop charts.  She never thought that her career would have gotten as far as it has.  Actually for America’s Pop Queen life couldn’t have gotten better for her.  She was dating the hottest guy, Justin Timberlake from boy band NSYNC and was the biggest celebrity in the public eye.  However the relationship didn’t last and the couple split up in 2003. 

Pop Queen Spears has since then sold over 88 million records worldwide and won a Grammy.  She has released record after record, but her life took some changes and because of the pressure, Britney decided to take a couple years off to rejuvenate.  During her time off, she met Kevin Federline and decided to get married.  Not long after they were married, Britney was pregnant with her first child and then after having the baby, she was pregnant with her second child. 

Since the birth of her second child, Britney has filed divorce from Kevin Federline, while she gets back into the business to make the biggest comeback in 2007.  She is in the process of recording a new album and has been seen in the dance studio around her residence.  Even though this has happened her fans are by her side and aren’t going anywhere.  Britney brought pop music back and for that she is admired by many.

Spears has accomplished more than many, but has not been receiving very much credit or respect from the media.  The decisions she has made lately, have been rather bad for her image.  Critics believe that Britney fell apart after her split from Justin Timberlake.  Britney realized that she needed to find out who she really was and her innocent image slowly faded.  Now she has more of the bad girl image.  The pop princess started wearing more of a sexy, revealing style and in 2003 at the MTV Music Awards she provocatively kissed Madonna.
