Once so in love and now divorcing, Cruise and Holmes owe the separation to Scientology. Divorce is definitely an option for Katie Holmes, who supposedly blindsided Tom Cruise with the recent filing. Katie has stated that she is going to go on record about what went wrong between the pair and unfortunately she will end up dragging their poor daughter, Suri down with her. Holmes recently confided in her Father, a high profile attorney that she wanted out of the marriage and that they needed to act fast. Together the two formulated a plan to get away from superstar, Tom Cruise and weeks later, Holmes is reportedly seen in a new apartment in the New York City area.
Some say, the two had to make calculated moves very slowly. The media reports that Katie’s father, once estranged, will do whatever it takes to help Holmes fight for sole custody and separate from Cruise forever. Yesterday, Katie arrived at Aronson, Mayefsky and Sloan Law Firm in New York City to meet with her attorney’s representing her in this soon-to-be nasty battle for custody and separation.
